Voltara ("the app") is an electric-vehicle charging station map and trip planner published by FidovaSoft. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: Voltara has no user accounts and no servers of its own. Your data stays on your device, except for the requests the app makes directly to public map and charging-data services, and for advertising and purchases handled by Google.
FidovaSoft does not collect, store or receive any personal data. The app has no user accounts, no backend, no analytics and no crash-reporting SDKs. We cannot see who you are, where you are or how you use the app.
If you allow it, the app reads your device location to center the map, show nearby chargers, draw your estimated range and plan trips. Your location is processed only on your device. It is never stored by us, never sent to us and never shared with third parties for advertising or profiling. Map coordinates are sent to the data services below only as part of the query needed to answer your request (for example "chargers inside this map area").
To function, the app fetches data directly from these providers, each operating under its own privacy policy:
These requests contain only the technical information needed to answer them (map coordinates, a route, a search query) and your IP address, which is inherent to any internet connection. Voltara adds no user identifiers to these requests.
The free version of Voltara shows occasional full-screen ads and optional rewarded video ads delivered by Google AdMob. There are no banner ads. To serve ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and coarse device information, and may use them for personalised advertising where you have consented. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app shows Google's consent form before loading ads, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. Google's use of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Voltara Pro removes all advertising.
Voltara Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Google Play. FidovaSoft never sees your payment details. The app only receives from Google Play whether a purchase is active, in order to unlock Pro features on your device. Purchases can be managed or cancelled in the Google Play Store app.
Your settings, vehicle profile, saved chargers, check-ins, private notes, charging log, achievements, offline map areas and a cache of recently loaded chargers are stored only locally on your device. The home-screen widget and the Android Auto screen read the same local data. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.
Notifications (for example when a charging session you started should be finished, or when a saved charger changes status) are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification service is used.
If you use "Report a problem" or "Contact us", the app opens your email app with a pre-filled message. Sending it is your choice; we then receive only what you send.
Voltara is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
Charger locations, prices, availability, range and charging-time estimates come from public data sources and mathematical models and may be inaccurate or out of date. Always verify on site and drive safely.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date.
