These terms apply to the Voltara mobile application ("the app") published by FidovaSoft ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Voltara shows electric-vehicle charging stations from public data sources on a map, estimates charging times, costs and range for the vehicle you select, and plans trips with charging stops. It is an information tool; it does not start, stop or pay for charging sessions at any station.
Charger locations, connector details, opening hours, prices, status, reliability scores, range, weather-adjusted consumption and charging-time estimates are derived from third-party data and mathematical models. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. You are responsible for verifying information on site, for your route and for driving safely. Do not interact with the app while driving except through Android Auto or voice control where permitted by law.
Voltara Pro is an optional paid tier sold through Google Play as a monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in the Google Play Store app. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. Pro features are delivered as-is and may change over time.
The free tier shows occasional full-screen ads and optional rewarded ads delivered by Google AdMob. Watching a rewarded ad grants temporary access to a Pro feature as described in the app.
The app uses data and services from Open Charge Map (CC BY-SA 4.0), OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), the U.S. Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center, OpenFreeMap, OpenMapTiles, Esri, Photon by komoot, Project OSRM, Open-Meteo and Open-Elevation. Each is subject to its own licence and terms; we do not control their availability or content. The app may stop working, in whole or in part, if a service becomes unavailable.
You may not use the app to overload, scrape or abuse the third-party services it relies on, reverse-engineer the app beyond what applicable law allows, or submit false reports through the "Report a problem" feature.
The app, its design and its name are the property of FidovaSoft. Map data and charger data belong to their respective providers as noted above.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FidovaSoft is not liable for any damage or loss arising from use of the app, including running out of charge, missed or unavailable chargers, incorrect prices or costs, or reliance on any estimate shown in the app.
We may update these terms; the current version is always published at this address with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
